Artist Spotlight: My Pet Vampire

  

It's been a bit since I've done one of these!

So you may or may not know that I used to run a comic with my sister called Blood Brothers. It was a satire comic during the days of Interview with the Vampire vs Twilight, the first and probably only time I'll be in the right place at the right time. My sister would write the stories and I'd translate them into comics. When I began getting ideas of expanding the universe to fit in some other fandoms, the comic eventually turned into Semi-Charmed which you all know. (I hope) 

Blood Brothers may or may not be picked up again, I have found some artists jonesing for the idea of Anne Rice's boys being dorks outside of the books. So why am I going on about old comic projects? Because I recently found a comic that reminded me of all those old but good jokes we used to make.



This one page, out of several dozen, I think really speaks to the tone of this comic. MC Sarah's sarcastic and disenchanted view of her new 'friend's' powers and even mere existence reminds me of, well, me. Me in SC at least. We're both unimpressed at best.
