GA: The Cobalt Drake House

Led by Grand Knight Jerux "Chase" Vereander II, the Cobalt house is one of the most prestigious and powerful drake houses. Jerux is the oldest of the active aeronauts, and would be about 50 in human years. (Atlanteans live longer than humans) His eyes are, of course, violet which marks him as a noble. He and his drake Hunter have been around since before the Civil War. In fact, he is the only aeronaut from the time of the Civil War still in service. (Herrik 'Bane" Gyxian is retired due to unrelated circumstances.) He's a quiet fellow, and prefers to act as a leader more than a friend to those under him. He does not like the idea of a 'popluar' Grand Knight, although he tries to be fair and just.

Cobalt drakes are the largest drakes, weighing a good 30 tons when fully grown. Their skin is exceptionally tough, allowing them to be used a juggernauts in battle, slamming into buildings and enemy vehicles. However this makes them unwieldy in the air, as they cannot make tight turns like the others. They can still hover, but not as long as an Ebon or Golden drake. They range in color anywhere from navy blue to pale cyan.

The Cobalt house had long had a feud with the Emerald Drake house, which has since been obliterated. However, their flag still stands as a testimony to the battles waged between them. The yellow stripes of the horse symbolize the brief alliance the Golden Drake House made with the Emeralds before breaking that treaty and turning to the Whites over 300 years ago.

Cobalts love to hunt, and it has become a rite of passage for young aeronauts in training.
